Key Points of Breeding and Cultivation Techniques for A New Maize Variety"Dika No.011"with High and Stable Yield of Dual-Purpose Grain and Silage
"Dika No.011"is a new hard-grained maize variety of dual-purpose grain and silage,which was hybrid developed by Guangxi Ruite Seed Co.,Ltd.and Zhongzhong International Seed Co.,Ltd.in 2018 by crossing H2104Z as female parent and H5964Z as male parent.From 2016 to 2017,this variety participated in the regional test and production test of maize varieties.The variety performed well and was approved by the relevant agricultural departments of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in 2018(approval number:Guishenyu No.2018052).It is suitable for planting in the whole region of Guangxi.The main characteristics of this variety are as follows:high and stable yield,large panicle,compact plant type,high density and lodging resistance,strong disease resistance,mature living rod,well performing of stay-green in the later stage,and dual-purpose grain and silage.
