Applied Research and Its Progress of Metagenomics on Feed Conversion Rate
Feed conversion rate is an important index to measure the growth performances of livestock and poultry,which also plays a very important role in the efficiency of animal breeding.With the rapid development of science and technology in the new era and the acceleration of the modernization of Chinese-style agriculture,the livestock and poultry industry has moved towards large-scale,standardized and intelligent,and the feed requirements for livestock and poultry are gradually increasing,so the research on feed conversion rate is constantly deepening.Metagenomics,as a new technology,has great potential and development space in the field of animal breeding.In this paper,the concept,classification and sequencing methods of metagenomics and metagenomics were introduced,and the application research and progress of metagenomics in feed conversion rate of livestock and poultry were emphasized,and the application prospect of metagenomics in feed conversion rate was prospected.
