Research on Cultural Landscape Protection of Traditional Tourism Villages Based on Spatial Production Theory:the Case of Xiushui Village in Guangxi
Cultural landscape is the embodiment of both spiritual and material values of traditional villages, which is crucial to the attraction and sustainable development of rural tourism.Xiushui Village in Fuchuan Yao Autonomous County of Hezhou city of Guangxi attracts many tourists with its unique ethnic customs and natural landscape. In the process of transforming residents'living space into tourism space, traditional social structure and cultural activities are impacted by the development of modern tourism. The control of elders and elites is gradually being replaced by the government and enterprises, and the original clan activities are also being replaced by tourism festivals. These changes can lead to the marginalization of traditional cultures and the weakening of a community's cultural identity. In order to protect and inherit the cultural landscape of traditional villages, advanced marketing knowledge is used to enhance the value cognition of the material cultural landscape and professional marketing strategies are used to enhance the awareness of community residents to protect traditional buildings and sites in Xiushui Village. The interaction between tourists and local residents is encouraged, and tourists are invited to participate in the protection of the cultural landscape, personally experiencing traditional culture through experiential tourism activities,This helps stimulate their interest in cultural landscape protection. At the same time,it ensures that community residents benefit from tourism development and become more actively involved in the conservation of cultural landscapes. In addition, providing employment opportunities and sharing tourism benefits can also stimulate the motivation of community residents to protect cultural landscapes.Taking Xiushui Village in Guangxi as an example, this paper combines the strategies of knowledge marketing and community participation to provide new ideas for the protection of cultural landscape similar to traditional villages. This helps ensure the harmonious coexistence of tourism development and cultural inheritance.
