Analysis of Climate Comfort for Tourism in Chaozhou City
Based on the daily average temperature,precipitation,relative humidity,wind speed,and sunshine duration observation data of Chaozhou National Meteorological Observation Station from 2003 to 2022,the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of tourism comfort in Chaozhou in the recent 30 years were analyzed using the methods of temperature and humidity index,wind efficiency index,clothing index,and comprehensive comfort index.The results show that in the past 30 years,the suitable months for tourism in Chaozhou have lasted for 8 months,mainly from January to May and from October to December,while the entire period from June to September is sultry.The suitable seasons for tourism in Chaozhou are spring and autumn,followed by winter.Due to the high temperature and sultry weather in summer,the suitability is general.The comprehensive climate comfort index showed an insignificant increasing trend,with overall stability and no noticeable fluctuations,remaining within the comfortable range;Through the analysis of abnormal characteristics,it was found that the comprehensive climate comfort index of Chaozhou City had two abnormal years,namely 2007 and 2013,which were close to the comfort range of the comprehensive comfort index.
