From Written Symbols to Behavioral Symbols:Construction and Improvement of Rural Public Legal Education Supply
Promoting public legal education in rural areas is an important guarantee for the implementation of the comprehensive strategy of rule of law,and a key factor in implementing the rule of law thinking throughout the entire judicial process. However,at present, there are some problems such as weak foundation, weak awareness of the rule of law among farmers and difficulty in carrying out rule of law education in rural areas. The resistance of farmers to legal education through written symbols has not been discussed in traditional perspectives, ignoring the essence of rural legal education dissemination and the cultural differences between urban and rural areas. From the perspective of semiotics, solving rural problems with urban thinking and replacing the farmer's position with the citizen's position is the crux of the obstruction of legal education.By analyzing the essence of rural legal education dissemination and the differences in urban and rural thinking from a new perspective of symbolic communication, new improvement logic can be derived.Guided by clarifying the decoding subject, transforming the coding position, and changing the form of communication,we aim to construct a rural public legal education supply model that takes farmers as the decoders of educational symbols, adheres to their stance, and focuses on the form of behavior symbol communication. This will achieve a fundamental transformation and innovative development of rural public legal education supply, and provide guidance for the implementation of legal thinking in rural governance.
