Study on the Status Quo and Measures of Ecological Farm Development in Guangxi
Among the recognized national and autonomous region-level ecological farms in Guangxi,the national-level ecological farms are primarily located in Nanning and Yulin,with 7 and 3 farms respectively,accounting for 33.33%and 14.29%.The autonomous region-level ecological farms are mainly distributed in Yulin,Nanning,and Guilin,with 9,7,and 6 farms respectively,representing 18.37%,14.29%,and 12.24%.The registration of national and autonomous region-level ecological farms is predominantly within the latest 10 years,with both categories exceeding 65%.Ecological farms where the return on investment does not exceed 1 constitute more than 50%.We conducted a SWOT analysis by utilizing key datas from 49 ecological farms in Guangxi that were rated between 2021 and 2023.The analysis results suggest that Guangxi's eco-farms have advantages such as an eco-agriculture industrial base,expert teams,relevant monitoring,and technical models.However,they face challenges like insufficient awareness of stakeholders,lack of enthusiasm for declarations,small farm sizes,inadequate special fund support,and limited economic benefits from high-quality agricultural products.They have opportunities through various policies introduced by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.Based on SWOT analysis results,strategies to promote the development of Guangxi's eco-farms were proposed from four strategic combination perspectives:strenghths-opportunity weakness-opportunities,strengths-threats,and weakness-threats,including actively seeking financial funds,leveraging companies'resources,promoting ecological agricultural technologies,enhancing publicity for ecological farms,and establishing high-standard,rigorous eco-farms.
