Test in feeding milking cattle with banana leaf and stem
Four primiparous holstein cows in fifth milking month were fedwith 20kg banana leaf and stem (BLS) in replaces 60%of elephant grass.This test lasted 60 days and showed that the average milk yield，milk fat，milk protein and milk density in test group and control group were 16.06kg and 15.63kg，3.34and 3.41，3.09and 3.07，1.0251 and 1.0265 respectively.The difference in two groups is not significant (P>0.05).The cost of per kg milk in the test group is ￥0.06 lower than that of control animals.The body weight and body conditions were also not much different in two groups during test.
