Study on Butterfly Diversity and Interference Factors in the National Wetland Park around the Ancient City of Jingzhou,Hubei
[Objective]This study was conducted to elaborate the distribution and biodiversity of butterfly species in the National Wetland Park around the Ancient City of Jingzhou.[Method]From April to August 2021,a combination of line transect and net capturing methods was taken to systematically investigate the butterfly diversity and the ecological environment, and the richness in-dex,diversity index, uniformity index and dominance index of butterflies at different survey points were analyzed.[Result]As a result,a total of 2350 butterflies were recorded in the survey, which were identified belonging to 22 species of 19 genera in 7 families, and among them Middle Eastern species were significantly more than Paleopic and cosmopolitan species. The results of the diversity analysis showed that the dominant butterfly species in the ancient city of Jingzhou Satyridae and Da-naidae,which had the highest dominance index of 1.0000;the highest biodiversity index was found in Papilionidae at 3.0995;and the highest uniformity index was in Hesperiidae at 2.0000;only 1 was collected for Satyridae and Danaidae, respectively, and they were the rare taxa in the ancient city of Jingzhou. In the ancient city of Jingzhou, the number of species(15 species)and the richness index(2.1324)of butterflies reached the highest in August, and the diversity index of butterflies(1.3658)reached the highest in May.Among the four transect lines, the human interference intensity(454)at North Gate(Ⅳ)was the highest, and the human interference intensity(301)at East Gate(Ⅲ)was the lowest. The precipitation distribution in different months was consistent with the change trend of the human disturbance intensity, and both were negatively correlated with the butterfly diversity in-dex.[Conclusion]It was concluded that the human disturbance and precipitation have certain in-fluence on butterfly resources in the National Wetland Park around the Ancient City of Jingzhou,so tourism management should be strengthened.
