摘要
今本《毛诗》"彼其之子"之"其"有语助词、代词、名词等不同解释,但都存在难以解决的问题.文章从安大简"其"作"(㐶)"及"之"与"者"的一处异文出发,结合《诗经》辞例、篇章及相关字词的对应关系,认为"彼其之子"是主谓倒装句,"其"记录的是一个与｛颀｝同源的形容词,"(㐶)"为专造字.
Abstract
In the extant version of the Mao Shi,the word"Qi其"in the phrase"Bi-qi-zhi-zi彼其之子"has been variously interpreted as a particle,a pronounor a noun,but all of these interpretations have their problems.This article starts from the variant readings of The Book of Songs in the Anda Jian where"其"is written as"(㐶)"and a variantof"之"and"者",and argues,based on the stylistic conventions,different chaptersand corresponding relationships of related words in The Book of Songs,that"Bi-qi-zhi-zi"is an inverted subject-predicate sentence,and that"Qi 其"records an adjective that is cognate with the word"颀",while"(㐶)"is a purpose-built character.
