摘要
传抄古文中"嗫"字写作"(养)(汗1·12义)"、"(养)(四5·21义)"等形,因形体讹变剧烈而有种种异说.我们据古文系统内部"弗"字写法以及王家嘴楚简《孔子曰》所见新字形,怀疑其本为从言、弗声之字,即见于中古字书的"䛍"."囁""䛍"常可训作"多言"等,以"䛍"表"囁"当是古文异体关系中常见的"义近换用"现象.同时,在考释"囁"形的基础上,我们对"义近换用"现象进行了初步探讨.
Abstract
The ancient Chinese character"囁"appears in transmitted ancient texts in forms such as"(养)(汗 1·12义)"and"(肃)(四5·21 义)",due to significant variations in shape,leading to various interpretations.Based on the internal structure of ancient Chinese character systems,the form of the character"弗"and the new character forms seen in the Chu bamboo slips from Wangjiazui titled"Confucius Said,"we suspect that the original character was composed to"yan"and"弗",which corresponds to"䛍"found in medieval Chinese character dictionaries.The characters"囁"and"䛍"can often be interpreted as"speak much,"suggesting that using"䛍"to represent"囁"is an example of the common phenomenon of"nearness of meaning"interchange in ancient scripts.Additionally,based on the examination of the form of"嗫,"we have conducted a preliminary exploration of the phenomenon of"nearness of meaning"interchange.
