Exponential weighted polynomial approximation in Orlicz spaces
The authors study the polynomial approximation problem with exponential weight w(x)=e-(1-x2)-α(α>0)in Orlicz spaces.And the Jackson theorem and its weak form in Orlicz spaces are proved by introducing new moduli of smoothness and associated with K-functionals,using H¨older inequalities and corresponding analysis techniques.The authors also obtained a new Bernstein inequality.
