Optimal Preventive Maintenance Strategy in Life Cycle for Leased Equipment Considering Service Quality
A key direction of service-oriented manufacturing is leasing products and providing relevant services(e.g.equipment maintenance)by original equipment manufacturers. In equipment leasing transactions, maintenance service quality directly affects the lessee's leasing intention and the lessor's profit. But the existing research on the design of maintenance service in the lease contract rarely takes into account the service quality as a key factor. Thus, from the perspective of the lessor,a multi-objective optimization model was proposed to maximize the profit and maintenance service quality in the leased equipment life cycle.Introducing maintenance service quality, the proposed model used virtual age to describe the impact of preventive maintenance on the condition of the leased equipment by considering the values of the equipment, rent, maintenance and failure costs. Finally,a solution method was constructed based on NGSA-Ⅱ algorithm and the effectiveness of the proposed maintenance strategy was verified through a numerical example.
