THEORY SYSTEM AND APPROACHES TO PRACTICE OF SHANSHUI CITY IN CHINA
The paper briefly described the formation process of the concept for Shanshui City from the aspects of targets,principles and strategies,and the theory system and approaches to practice were collected and summarized.The paper put forward the goals of protecting natural environment,shaping the city characteristics and the inheritance of Shanshui culture.The theory system of Shanshui City was formed based on the construction strategies that integrating the landscape resources in the area,developing and protecting the urban natural resources in a reasonable way,improving the occasion to inherit historical and cultural connotation and using traditional landscape method as a supplement.Meanwhile,the urban planning (including landscape planning,spatial planning and so on),the green space system planning,the water system planning were regarded as the construction means of Shanshui City.Finally,the shortages of the research were summarized and the development direction of future was put forward.
