The Growth and Alkaloid Content of Corydalis Conspersa on Alpine Scree in Qinghai Province and the Influencing Factors
The growth status(number of plants, height, coverage, dry weight)and alkaloid content of C.conspersa in alpine scree areas were investigated in 14 counties in Qinghai Province, and explored the environmental fac-tors(altitude,temperature,precipitation,sunshine duration, wind speed, soil total nitrogen, total phosphorus,to-tal potassium)and human factors(human interference)influencing growth and alkaloid content of C.conspersa.Furthermore,the relationship between the growth and alkaloid content of C.conspersa was analyzed as well. The main results were as follows.(1)There were 13 individual plants of C.conspersa per square meter with average height of 13.85 cm,average cover of 2.68%,average dry weight of 1.06 g and the average alkaloid content of 0.07 mg/g in alpine scree areas.(2)The height and coverage of C.conspersa increased significantly with the increase of altitude(P<0.05),and its coverage was significantly affected also by duration of sunshine and wind speed, while the number of plants was affected by wind speed and soil total potassium content(P<0.05).Human factors have a significant impact on the dry weight of individual plants of C.conspersa.(3)The alkaloid content in C.con-spersa was mainly affected by altitude and biological factors(number of plants, height and dry weight of per indi-vidual plant),it significantly increased with increasing altitude(P<0.01),and plant number, height and dry weight(P<0.05).In summary, this article revealed the influencing factors on the growth status and alkaloid con-tent of C.conspersa in alpine scree areas. The results of this study are important for the preservation and sustain-able utilization of the important medicinal plant C.conspersa on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
