The Physical Condition and Influencing Factors of Tibetan College Students from Different Regions of Tibet
Objective To compare the physical fitness of Tibetan college students in different areas of Tibet and analyze the influencing factors.Methods According to the national physical health standard,Chi-square test and binary Logistic model were used to analyze the physical fitness passing rate and influencing factors of 3 428 Tibetan college students in Xizang Minzu University for Nationalities.Results A total of 3 428 Tibetan college students were tested in this study,and the total pass rate of physical fitness was 83.34%,including 95.53%in Shannan University,92.05%in Nyingchi,84.70%in Shigatse,82.33%in Qamdo,78.34%in Lhasa and 75.57%in Nagqu.The passing rate of college students in Shannan and Nyingchi is significantly higher than that in Shiga-tse,Qamdo,Lhasa and Nagqu,and the passing rate in Shigatse is significantly higher than that in Lhasa and Nagqu.The passing rate of low weight,overweight and obese Tibetan college students is significantly lower than that of normal weight students,and the passing rate of obese students was significantly lower than that of low weight and overweight students.The passing rate of single index is compared and found that the passing rate of standing long jump is the highest in Qamdo(60.5%)and the lowest in Shannan(46.8%),the highest passing rate is Shannan(95.0%)and the lowest is Naqu(87.4%),the passing rate of 800 m/1000 m is the highest in Shannan(93.9%)and the lowest in Shigatse(76.7%).BMI and region are the influencing factors of whether the physical fitness test is qualified.Low body weight,overweight and obesity are the risk factors for the physical fitness of Ti-betan college students,and Shannan is the protection factor for the physical fitness of Tibetan college students.Conclusion BMI and region are the factors affecting the physical fitness of Tibetan college students.
