Stability Analysis of Sand-sliding Slope Excavation
To investigate the influence of different water content on the stability of sand-sliding slopes under ex-cavation,in this paper,FLAC 3D is used to analyze the stability of sand-sliding slopes under different water con-tent conditions, and the excavation stability is verified using physical models. The results show that the cohesive-ness of debris on sand-sliding slopes increases first and then decreases with the increase of water content, and the internal friction angle decreases. It also shows that with the increase of water content, the stress of the slope excavation face, displacement, and safety factor increase first and then decrease, and the stability is the highest when the water content of the slope is 11%.Moreover,the stability characteristics of the slope obtained by the physical model testing are consistent with the numerical simulation, which verifies the accuracy of the numerical simulation. The results of this studies can provide a reference for excavation study of similar sand-sliding slopes.
