Mechanism of the Influence of Anxiety Level on Attention Network in High-Altitude Migrants:A Case Study of 3 650 m Short-Term Migrants
Objective:To explore the potential mechanisms of the attention network in short-term migrants in high altitude environments, this study examines the key factors such as anxiety levels, oxygen carrying capacity, and sleep quality in the Tibetan Plateau. Methods:The SCL-90 questionnaire, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality in-dex(PSQI)and the Attention Network Test(ANT)were administered to 112 migrants who had lived at high alti-tude for two years, and venous blood was collected for hemoglobin concentration analysis.Results:(1)the exec-utive function network efficiency of the high anxiety group was significantly lower than that of the low anxiety group(t=-3.96,P<0.01);(2)The sleep quality of the higher hemoglobin concentration group was significantly better than that of the normal hemoglobin concentration group(t=2.31,P<0.01);(3)Sleep quality has a complete mediating effect between anxiety level and attention executive network(t=2.73,P<0.01,95%CI=[0.07,0.45]);(4)Sleep quality and hemoglobin concentration have mediating effects on anxiety level and attention executive network. Conclusion:High oxygen-carrying capacity of individuals in plateau environment can reduce the anxi-ety level of individuals by regulating sleep quality, and then improve the executive function of attention network.
