宋代育诞礼俗流变考论
On the Changes in Birth Rituals and Customs in Song Dynasty

摘要
宋代育诞礼俗自祈子习俗始,至婴儿周晬为止,囊括了祈子、孕期、庆贺三个时期,类型多样,意蕴吉祥.宋代育诞礼俗大体承袭前代而来,同时在此基础上对其进行了扬弃并为其赋予了新的时代内涵.两宋时期育诞礼俗之变的显著特点表现为:适用对象不再仅仅囿于上层贵族,百姓之家始用此礼;各地育诞风俗趋向统一;科学性更是渐趋增强.究其变迁之因,应与北宋社会经济及思想文化的蓬勃发展密切相关.由于政治重心南移因素的影响,大量人口向南迁徙,致使宋代育诞习俗在承袭前代的基础上,出现了显著的变迁,展现出鲜明的时代特色.
Abstract
The birth rituals and customs in Song Dynasty,starting from the custom of praying for a child and ending with the baby's first birthday,involved three stages of praying for a child,pregnancy,and celebration,with a variety of types and auspicious connotations.The birth rituals and customs of Song mainly inherited from its predecessors,but se-lection and development were also made at the same time to offer new connotations of the new age.The prominent fea-tures in the changes of birth rituals and customs in Song included the following three aspects:the ordinary people began to observe these rituals rather than only the upper-class aristocrats;the unification of the rituals in the whole country;the tendency of becoming more scientific.The reason for the change should be closely related to the booming develop-ment of social economy and culture in the Northern Song Dynasty.Large-scale migration to the south with the south-ward movement of the dynasty's political center resulted in the obvious shift in birth rituals of Song after its inheritance of the previous generations,showing distinctive characteristics of the times.
