Fostering virtue through education(FVE)is the fundamental task of ideological and political education(IPE),while the fundamental task of FVE requires that IPE continuously achieve modernization goals along with the de-velopment of socialist modernization.Promoting the modernization of IPE should always adhere to the direction of cultiva-ting talents for the Party and the nation,always uphold the theoretical guiding position of Marxist theory,and always fo-cus on the fundamental task of FVE in practice.Enhancing the sense of achievement and happiness of the subjects of IPE,enriching and diversifying the content of education,and improving the practicality and effectiveness of educational approaches will enable the integration of FVE into the process of modernizing IPE.
