The newspapers and periodicals of the Communist Party of China have played a significant role in dissemina-ting Marxism and promoting the policies and guidelines of the Party,and served as an essential source for the studying of the Party's revolutionary discourse.After the establishment of the Soviet regime in China,the Party faced a challenging environment for political publicity,and so the Party adopted news cartoons as one of the primary forms of publicity be-cause they were popular in form and easy to understand.Red China,a cartoon newspaper combining textual reports with news cartoons,thus became an important platform and medium for advancing the Party's publicity efforts.Through the revolutionary themes of Red China,the Party constructed an effective revolutionary discourse system focusing on national revolution,class revolution,and self-revolution.This system inspired the military and civilians in the Soviet areas to participate in Soviet construction and played a unique role in promoting the revolutionary struggle in these regions.
