Red family letters,or correspondence between revolutionary family members,are rich in revolutionary senti-ment and cultural heritage,and can be valuable teaching resources for ideological and political theory courses in univer-sities.A full exploration of the spiritual resources contained in red family letters is of significant educational value in this course to promote the inheritance of revolutionary culture,expand teaching content,and enrich course materials.To in-tegrate the red family letters into the teaching process of this course,it is necessary to consider their unity with the ele-ments such as the structure and system of the course,teaching content,and key and difficult points of teaching.It is al-so necessary to focus on the combination of teaching with scientific research,maintaining integrity with innovation,theo-ry with practice,and leading position with subjectivity,to enhance the effectiveness and pertinence of the teaching con-tent.
