Properties and preparation of TiO2-SiO2 binary gas gel air purification coating
To solve the problem of low catalytic efficiency of aerogels composite coatings for indoor formaldehyde puri-fication,TiO2-SiO2 gel spheres were prepared by non-supercritical drying and Sol-Gel method, and TiO2-SiO2 didynamic gel air purification coatings were finally prepared.Based on this, the surface morphology, pore structure and characteristic spec-tra of TiO2-SiO2 gel spheres were analyzed, and N2 adsorption-desorption curves were determined by photocatalysis/adsorp-tion method. The experimental results show that the micron TiO2-SiO2 aerogel sphere is a transparent and light solid with a diameter of about 1.5mm,and the diameter of the pores is distributed in the range of 5 nm~22.5 nm.The adsorption/photocatalytic synergism enables the removal rate of formaldehyde to reach 87.2%.
