The aim of this experiment was to study the addition of protective agent for air-blast drying of Zymomonas mobilis. In this experiment, the total number of bacteria and the number of viable bacteria were taken as the index, and the Zymomonas mobilis was cultured in solid medium, and then dried by air-blast drying. Finally, fermentation was performed using 25%glucose medium to evaluate its activity in a weight loss manner. The number of bacteria cultured reached 1.85×1010 CFU/g.Using solid medium equal quality lactose +5%mannose,+2%or +4%glycerol as a combination protective agent, the number of bacteria reached 1.31×1010 CFU/g and 1.2×1010 CFU/g during the drying process at 39℃,and the survival rate was more than 94%.The weight loss results before and after drying were basically the same, indicating that the bacteria had higher activity after air-blast drying.
