The Application of Fenton Oxidation Method in the Pretreatment of Difficult Pharmaceutical Wastewater
Taking the wastewater of a sewage treatment plant in a pharmaceutical industrial park as an example, the influent water with very low biochemical availability(BOD5/CODcr<0.1)was pretreated by Fenton oxidation to improve its biochemistry and degrade organic matter accordingly.Through multiple multi-parameter tests,it was determined that when FeSO4·7H2O dosage was 0.745 mg/L,hydrogen peroxide(30%)dosage was 0.45 mL/L,and the reaction time was 2 h,the biochemistry was increased to 0.187,and the CODcr removal effect could reach 35%,which was conducive to the next biochemical treatment.
