Research on the Growth Dynamics and Denitrification-Phosphorus Removal Capabilities of the Denitrifying Polyphosphate-accumulating Bacterium MF1
From a shrimp farming pond,a bacterial strain MF1 was isolated from the sediment. It was identified as Klebsiella michiganensis through 16S rDNA analysis.Growth characteristic tests of the strain indicated that the optimal carbon source for MF1 in an ammonium nitrogen medium is sodium pyruvate.Under conditions of 30℃,a pH of 7,an agitation speed of 100 r/min,and a C/N ratio of 10,the denitrification efficiency of MF1 reaches its peak.Sodium pyruvate is confirmed as the most suitable carbon source for MF1.
