A Study on the Clinical Significance of Detection and Typing of EB Virus in Peripheral Blood of Lymphoma Patients
This study explores the clinical significance of peripheral blood EBV detection and typing in lymphoma patients.Firstly,100 lymphoma patients were selected and their peripheral blood samples were tested for EB virus content using fluorescence quantitative PCR technology.EB virus typing was also performed on EB virus positive patients.69%(69/100)of EBV-DNA positive samples were detected in 100 lymphoma patients.Among 46 patients with B-cell type non Hodgkin's lymphoma who received 4 courses of treatment, the total response rate of the EB virus positive group was 60.7%,while the total response rate of the EB virus negative group was 88.9%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);The detection and typing of peripheral blood EB virus in lymphoma patients has certain clinical significance.EBV-2 infection is predominant in EB virus positive lymphoma patients. The treatment effect of lymphoma patients with positive nucleic acid results in peripheral blood EB testing is worse than that of patients with negative nucleic acid results. Therefore, for EB virus positive lymphoma patients,we may need to adjust their treatment plans to improve treatment effectiveness.
