Exploring the Application of PBL Model in Environmental Engineering Microbiology Courses
This paper evaluates the effectiveness of the problem-based learning(PBL)model in the field of Environmental Engineering Microbiology, and examines its role in enhancing students'learning abilities, critical thinking,problem-solving skills, and teamwork competencies. The results indicate that compared with traditional teaching methods,PBL model can more effectively stimulate students'learning motivation, engagement, and depth of understanding, particularly in team collaboration and practical problem-solving aspect.Despite the greater resources and planning required for implementing PBL,this paper provides suggestions for implementing PBL in environmental engineering education,in order to offer empirical supports for future pedagogical reforms.
