With the enhancement of environmental awareness and the improvement of policies and regulations,Chinese pharmaceutical industry is also gradually transforming to green development.This paper mainly discusses the following aspects:firstly,it introduces the concept and characteristics of green pharmaceuticals;secondly,it elaborates the definition,classification and synthesis of quaternary ammonium catalysts.and analyses the applications of quaternary ammonium catalysts in green pharmaceuticals;finally,it looks forward to the development trend of quaternary ammonium catalysts.
