Research Progress on the Protein Expression System of Bifidobacterium
Bifidobacterium is a typical probiotic that can be used as biosafety-grade microbial chassis for the protein expression.Recombinant bifidobacteria express bioactive proteins have extensive value in food applications and biomedical research.In this paper,the recent research progress on the application of recombinant bifidobacterial proteins expression is reviewed,in order to provide references for the development of engineered bifidobacteria.
