Exploration of the Value of Constant Temperature Amplification Method in Detecting Pathogens in Lower Respiratory Tract Infections
The paper explores the value of using Loop mediated isothermal amplification(LAMP)in diagnosing pathogens in infected populations.By collecting sputum or bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF)from 255 patients with lower respiratory tract infections from January 2022 to August 2022,this paper uses LAMP method and sputum culture method to detect them simultaneously, and analyzes the detection of pathogens, the consistency rate of constant temperature amplification chip method and sputum culture method. The paper detected 200 positive specimens using LAMP method, with a total positive rate of 78.43%,and a total of 10 respiratory pathogens were detected;80 positive specimens were detected using sputum culture method, with a total positive rate of 31.37%,and a total of 8 respiratory pathogens were detected. The positive rates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa detected by the two methods are highly consistent(Kappa=0.516);The positive rates of Acinetobacter baumannii and Klebsiella pneumoniae showed moderate consistency(0.4<Kappa<0.6).The pathogen detection rate of constant temperature amplification method is significantly higher than that of traditional sputum culture method;Compared with the gold standard sputum culture method, the detection of highly pathogenic bacteria has good consistency. But the LAMP method has a shorter detection time and a higher overall positive rate, which is more helpful for clinical doctors to quickly and accurately identify the pathogens of infection.
