Protective Effect of Collagen Peptides on Human Gingival Fibroblasts Injury
The paper studied the protective effect of collagen peptides on human periodontal ligament fibroblasts(hPDLFs)induced by lipopolysaccharide and its possible mechanism. The results showed that collagen peptides above 100 mg/mL could effectively reduce the toxicity of lipopolysaccharide, and significantly reduce IL-8 and TNF-α produced by lipopolysaccharide, suggesting that collagen peptides can provide effective and safe solutions to oral cavity repair.
