Study on Antioxidant and Immune-enhancing Effects of Compound Probiotics
The article aimed to investigate the effects of compound probiotics on antioxidant and immune enhancement in animals.Specifically, the SPF grade mice were treated by gavage, and serum biochemical indexes, antioxidant and immune of mice were detected. After that, compound probiotics were used as feed additives in dairy cow production and breeding, and physiological indexes of dairy cow serum were detected. The results showed that compound probiotics significantly reduced the contents of alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),creatinine(CREA)and urea in immunocompromised mice(P<0.05),and significantly increased the spleen index and thymus index(P<0.05).In addition to the content of triglyceride, the contents of high density lipoprotein, low density lipoprotein, glucose, total protein, albumin and cholesterol were significantly increased after feeding the diet supplemented with compound probiotics(P<0.05),the immune indexes of IgA,IgG and IgM in dairy cow serum were significantly increased(P<0.05),the pro-inflammatory factor TNF-α was significantly decreased(P<0.05),serum superoxide dismutase(SOD),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)and catalase(CAT)indexes were significantly increased(P<0.05)and the content of malondialdehyde(MDA)was significantly decreased(P<0.05).Tests on mice and dairy cows have proved that the compound probiotics play a positive role in improving the health of animals, including the improvement of serum biochemical indexes within the normal range, the enhancement of antioxidant capacity and the enhancement of immunity.
