This paper will focus on the definition,purpose and method of total microbial colony detection technology,and emphasizie the importance and specific applications of this technology in food safety supervision.It hopes to fully exhibit the application value of total microbial colony detection technology,promote the food safety supervision,reduce the risk of foodborne diseases and maintain the public trust.
