Exploration on the Mechanism of Cinnamon Twig in the Treatment of Coronary Heart Disease Based on the Network Pharmacology
This article used the method of network pharmacology to explore the main chemical components and the mechanism of action of Cinnamon Twig in the treatment of coronary heart disease.Firstly, the TCMSP database was used to analyze the components of Cinnamon Twig and screen the effective active components. The disease gene targets were obtained through the Genecards database, and the intersection of the disease gene targets with the targets of Cassia twig was taken in Venny to obtain the common intersection targets. The target protein interaction network(PPI)was constructed by using STRING database. Finally, the DAVID database and the Bioinformatics placform were used to perform GO/KEGG enrichment analysis of the core targets of Cinnamon Twig in the treatment of CHD.7 major chemical components of Cinnamon twig,51 corresponding targets were screened from TCMSP,inclding 27 common targets and 5 corresponding chemical components.By GO functional enrichment analysis,7 biological processes,3 cellular components and 1 molecular function were obtained, including response to estradiol, negative regulation of muscle contraction, cell membrane rafts.KEGG enrichment analysis identified 15 signaling pathways, including cancer pathways, lipid pathways and atherosclerosis pathways. In this paper, the network pharmacology method was used to establish the relationship between the active components of Cinnamon Twig and the treatment of coronary heart disease, and to explore its complex pharmacological mechanism. The study of its targets, biological processes and signaling pathways will lay a solid foundation for its development, research and application.
