The paper conducted a series of experimental research on the antibacterial effect of honeysuckle extract in skin care emulsions.The traditional preservative,methyl hydroxybenzoate,was combined with honeysuckle extract,and their combined antibacterial effect was analyzed.The experimental results showed that honeysuckle extract itself had antibacterial properties.When honeysuckle extract was mixed with other preservatives and added into skin care products,the antibacterial effect was enhanced.This can reduce the additive amount of traditional preservatives to a certain extent,thus reducing the irritation to the skin.
