Study on the Inhibition of Listeria Monocytogenes Infection by E.caecimuris GAM9 Isolated from the Intestinal Tract of Mice
The isolation of functional bacteria from the gut microbiota as a new approach for finding alternative antibiotic treatments has been widely studied in the treatment of pathogenic microorganisms. The study isolated a strain of Enterorhabdus caecimuris GAM9 from the feces of healthy mice using anaerobic cultivation methods.Animal experiments have shown that GAM9 can reduce the mortality rate and Listeria monocytogenes bacterial load in feces of Lm infected mice, and downregulate the expression level of IL-1β,IL-6,IL-10,TNF α And IFN-γ in the liver and spleen of infected mice. The results indicate that the isolated strain GAM9,as a potential functional probiotic, can treat Listeria monocytogenes infection.
