Study on the Action Mechanism of Wuji Gastric Floating Sustained-Release Tablets on Gastric Ulcers Induced by Anhydrous Ethanol in Rabbits
Objective :To explore the possible mechanism of Wuji gastric floating sustained-release tablets,and to observe the pathological changes of gastric mucosal injury induced by anhydrous ethanol in rabbits.Methods :The rabbits were randomly divided into a normal group and a model group: Wuji gastric floating sustained-release tablets low-dose group, wuji floating sustained high-dose group, and wuji pill group and cimetidine group.After 12 days of treatment, ethanol-induced gastric mucosat injury in rabbits as a model, the ulcer index and degree of pathological injury were measured, meanwhile, the contents of NO, SOD, MDA in serum and PGE2 in gastric tissue were measured with ELISA.Results: Compared with the model group, the ulcer index of each treated group were significantly lower than that of the model group, elevated the contents of NO, SOD in serum and PGE2 in gastric tissue, reduced the contents of MDA in serum.The difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion:Wuji gastric floating sustained-release tablets showed obvious protective effect on gastric mucosa injury, and its mechanism may be related to the expression of regulating NO, SOD,PGE2, MDA, etc.
