A Study of the Influence of Fumigation and Steaming Therapy with Miao Medicine upon the Motor Function of Cervical Spondylosis
Objective:To provide clinical evidences for optimizing the therapy for cervical spondylosis by Comparing the effects of the fumigation and steaming therapy with Miao medicine,the naprapathy and the cotherapy upon the improvement of motor function of cervical vertebra with cervical spondylosis.Methods:185 outpatients and inpatients were chosen from the First Hospital Affiliated to Guiyang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine,and divided them into 3 groups according to the order of them seeing a doctor.Among them,61 patients were in the group of fumigation and steaming therapy with Miao medicine,63 in the group of naprapathy and 61in the group of co-therapy.Took the movement range of cervical vertebra as observational index,compared and assessed the cases of these three groups respectively before and after the treatment.Results:Concerning the movement range of cervical vertebra,the group of co-therapy was better than the other two groups after treatment,while there was no significant difference betweennaprapathy group and fumigation and steaming therapy with Miao medicine.Conclusion:The fumigation and steaming therapy with Miao medicine combined with naprapathy can significantly improve the motor function of cervical vertebra.
