Study the Effect of Different Drying Methods on Content of Methyl Salicylate in Gaultheria Yunnanensis
Objective:To study the effect of different drying methods,such as shade drying,sun drying,etc.,on content of Methyl Salicylate in Gaultheria Yunnanensis,and the result of the changes in its functions,to find a suitable drying method for Gaultheria yunnanensis.Method:The volatile oil was extracted by steam distillation,gas chromatography and then dried in different ways,then the content of methyl salicylate in gaultheria yunnanensis was determined.Results:The content of methyl salicylate obtained by airing method was higher than that of the sun-drying method.The leaves air-dried in shade (3.98μg/g) > leaves air-dried in the sun (3.84μg/g).The stems air-dried in shade (4.48μg/g) > stems air-dried in the sun (3.97μg/g).Roots air-dried in the shade (4.85μg/g) > roots air-dried in the sun (4.21μg/g).Conclusion:The method has the advantages of short detection time,high accuracy and good reproducibility,which can provide reference for production processing.
