Treating Knee Joint Osteoarthritis under Arthroscopy
Objective:To investigate methods and clinical curative effect for treating knee joint osteoarthritis under arthroscopy.Methods:From January 2013 to June 2015,there were 42 patients with an average age of 59 (aged 46-72) being treated for osteoarthritis under arthroscopy.All of the patients suffered on one knee,19 cases on left-knee,and 23 cases on right.Before operation,18 cases of the patients suffered from the problems of knee joint pain,swelling and limited extension movement,while 24 cases with extension-flexion restriction.During the operation,the synovial tissue of the joint was cleaned up and some bone tissues were examined by histopathology and bacterial culture.Synovial tissues cleared out from the joint and some of the bone tissues were examined by histopathology and bacterial culture during operation.Results:42 cases were followed up for 6 to 24 months with an average time of 15 months.The symptoms of knee joint pain,swelling,and limited activities were relieved after operation.Conclusion:Treating knee joint osteoarthritis under arthroscopy has the minimal surgical trauma,which is a better effect for treating knee joint osteoarthritis
