Research on Electromagnetic Vibration Energy Harvester for Power Transformer
Transformer is the key equipment in the power grid,the real-time monitoring of its running state is very important.However,how to provide economic and green power for various monitoring sensors is the key to realize intelligent transformer operation and maintenance.Therefore,an electromagnetic vibration energy collector for power transformer is proposed in this paper to collect the vibration energy near 100 Hz generated by the transformer during operation so as to realize the self-energy supply of the transformer monitoring and sensing equipment.In this paper,the vibrator with coil is suspended by a mechanical spring to quantitatively control its resonance frequency,then magnifies the vibration amplitude,and at the same time,the magnetic field is configured in the periphery.A theoretical model of the collector is established to predict its output voltage.The resonant frequency and theoretical model of the collector are verified by finite element simulation and experimental test.Finally,a prototype is made,and the vibration condition with amplitude of 10 μm and frequency of 100 Hz is simulated by the experimental platform.The maximum output power is measured to be about 7.1 mW,which proves the potential application value of the vibration energy collector proposed in this paper.
