数字人文:数字主体的或是人文归宿的?

摘要
人们常常认为,人文文献的数字化,就是数字人文;或者在数字时代,仍然诉求人文主义,就是数字人文.这是两种基于形式含义的理解.数字人文的形式结构是数字的,实质则是人文的,这是数字时代必须承诺的基本规定性.人文主义为数字时代限定了基本价值,这也是数字时代公共生活的本质要求.换言之,人是目的而不是手段,这一原则不仅不为数字时代所动摇,相反为数字时代所夯实.这是一个跨越不同技术时代的价值共性.如果数字时代的人文取向被扭曲,公共生活丧失了人是目的的规定性,那么,数字时代就会是一个危害人文价值、颠覆公共世界的可怕时代.杜绝工具理性对价值理性的僭取,维护"人是目的"的基本价值规定性,乃是在数字时代之中和这一时代之外需要守持的基本理念.这是技术工具不至于成为控制人的方式,将人工具化的唯一正当出路.
Abstract
People often treat the digitalization of humanities literature as digital humanities,or the appealing to humanism in the digital age as digital humanities.These are two understandings based on formal meaning.The formal structure of digital humanities is numerical,while the substance is humanis-tic,which is a fundamental requirement that must be upheld in the digital age.Humanism defines the basic values of the digital age,which also reflects the essential requirement of public life in the digital age.In other words,humans are ends rather than means.This principle is not shaken by the digital age.Instead,it is consolidated.This is a common value that spans different technological eras.If the human-istic orientation of the digital age is distorted and public life loses its normativity with human beings as its purpose,then the digital age will be a terrifying era that undermines human values and disrupts the pub-lic world.Putting an end to the usurpation of substantive rationality by instrumental rationality and main-taining the basic value regularity of″men as the ends″are the basic principles that need to be upheld in and out of the digital age.This is the only proper way to prevent technological tools from controlling hu-mans and turning them into tools.
