Port pollutant emission reduction potential based on air pollutant emission inventory:A case study of Dagang Port Area in Qingdao Port
This study collected the air pollutants and greenhouse gases emitted by mobile sources in Qingdao Port(Dagang port area)through field investigation in 2020,established the emission inven-tory by adopting the emission factor method,analyzed the distribution structure and characteristics of air pollutants and greenhouse gases in the port area,identified their key emission sources,and pre-dicted their emission reduction potential.The results show that,among all kinds of land mobile sources and ship sources in the port area,the port machinery and transport ships account for the lar-gest proportion of all kinds of air pollutants and greenhouse gases.The type of atmospheric pollutant with the largest emission intensity is NOx,and the type of greenhouse gas with the largest emission intensity is CO2.The key emission sources of CO,HC,CH4 and N2 O are port machinery,and the key emission sources of NOx,PM10,PM2.5,VOCs,CO2 and SO2 are transport ships.For different types of port mobile sources,it is proposed to promote the replacement of port machinery electric energy,elimi-nate national II and below diesel driven non-road mobile machinery,limit the access of vehicles of emis-sion standards of national III and below,and change to national V emission standard vehicle,explore the application of pure electric-driven port ship,improve the docking of ships shore power connection rate and other measures to reduce air pollutants and greenhouse gases by port mobile sources.Through the compilation of port mobile source emission inventory,this study can find out the level of pollutants and greenhouse gas emissions from port mobile source,which is the basis for identifying key emission sources and developing targeted emission reduction measures,and continuously evaluating the effect of measures taken.
