Investigation and analysis of water environment quality in Binhai County urban area of Jiangsu Province in dry season
In the dry season,the authors conducted an investigation on the water environment quality in the urban area of Binhai County and the industrial park of the development zone.The investigation area is about 50.8 square kilometers,evaluating the water quality of main rivers,urban rivers,and internal rivers of the industrial park of the development zone and surrounding tributaries.The surface water quality in the survey area was seriously polluted,and the main reason was analyzed as the long-term retention of water during the dry season.In the absence of sufficient water supply,the lagging construction of environmental infrastructure and the continuous entry of domestic and industrial pollu-tants into the river in the region led to increasing surface water pollution.
