Preparation and Properties of TPAS/PLA/PLA-g-MAH Blended Materials
Thermoplastic acetate starch(TPAS)/polylactic acid(PLA)/polylactic acid grafted maleic anhydride(PLA-g-MAH)blend materials were prepared using melting and injection molding processes, and the compatibilization effect of PLA-g-MAH was investigated. The mechanical properties, thermal properties, melt rheological properties and hydrophilicity of the blend materials were analyzed. The results show that PLA-g-MAH improves the dispersion of TPAS in PLA and significantly enhances the interfacial binding force between the two.As the content of PLA-g-MAH increases, the tensile strength, elongation at break and notched impact strength of the blend material first increase and then decrease, reaching the maximum value when the PLA-g-MAH content is 15%.Compared with the non-capacitated system, they increased by 17.9%,18.5% and 138.5% respectively. The addition of PLA-g-MAH leads to the weakening of the crystallization ability of the blend material, the improvement of surface hydrophobicity, the enhancement of the melt viscoelasticity of the blend material, and the improvement of processing performance.
