摘要

以高纯度BaBr2、CsBr、TlBr为原料,采用高温固相反应法合成了不同掺杂量的Cs2BaBr4:Tl+多晶料原料,通过坩埚下降法生长了不同掺杂量的Cs2BaBr4:Tl+晶体.测试了晶体的闪烁性能,主要有光致发光、X射线激发发射谱及在紫外光激发下的衰减时间.结果表明,晶体在 265 nm 激发波长下测得发射光谱中可观察到两个Tl+离子的发射峰,分别为 366 nm和 450 nm.在紫外激发下,Cs2BaBr4:1%Tl+、Cs2BaBr4:2%Tl+、Cs2BaBr4:4%Tl+晶体的衰减时间分别为 1.6、1.7 和1.35 us.本研究主要了对比不同Tl+掺杂量的Cs2BaBr4 的性能,为生长大尺寸探测用闪烁晶体的研究提供依据.

Abstract

Using BaBr2,CsBr and TlBr with high-purity as the raw materials,the polycrystalline powders of Cs2BaBr4:Tl+with different doping amount used as raw materials synthesized by the solid-state reaction method.The crystals of Cs2BaBr4:Tl+with different doping amount were grown by Bridgman technique.The scintillation performance of crystals were measured,including the photo luminescence,X-ray induced luminescence,and decay time The results showed that under the excitation of the wavelength at 265nm,the crystal exhibits two emission peaks at wavelengths around 366 and 450 nm.The decay time of the Cs2BaBr4:1%Tl+、Cs2BaBr4:2%Tl+、Cs2BaBr4:4%Tl+crystals under the excitation of UV light was fitted to be 1.6、1.7 and 1.35 us.
