葛根素治疗2型糖尿病及其并发症的研究进展

摘要
2型糖尿病(type 2 diabetes mellitus,T2DM)是常见的慢性代谢性疾病,其特征是高血糖和胰岛素抵抗,常伴随严重的并发症,致死率和致残率逐年增高.使用常规降糖药多伴有不良反应,如二甲双胍会引起呕吐、腹泻等胃肠道反应,寻找毒副作用小的"降糖"药是亟待解决的社会重大公共健康问题.传统中医药治疗T2DM有独特优势,安全有效.葛根素是中药葛根的主要活性成分,现代药理学研究和临床案例发现,葛根素在T2DM及其并发症的治疗过程中展现出良好的治疗效果.本文对葛根素治疗T2DM及其并发症的作用机制进行综述,丰富葛根素治疗糖尿病的理论依据,以期推动降糖新药研发.
Abstract
Type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)is a common chronic metabolic disease characterized by hy-perglycemia and insulin resistance.It is often accompanied by serious complications,and the mortality and disa-bility rate increase year by year.Conventional hypoglycemic drugs are often accompanied by serious adverse re-actions,such as metformin,which can cause gastrointestinal reactions such as vomiting and diarrhea.To search for effective Chinese medicine to"reduce glucose"is a major public health issue that needs to be solved urgent-ly.Traditional Chinese medicine has unique advantages in treating T2DM,which is safe and effective.Puerarin is the main active ingredient of Pueraria lobata(Willd.)Ohwi.Modern pharmacological research and clinical cases found that puerarin has a significant therapeutic effect on the treatment of T2DM and its complications.In this article,the mechanism of puerarin in treating T2DM and its complications was reviewed to enrich the theo-retical basis of puerarin in treating diabetes,in order to promote the research and development of new hypogly-cemic drugs.
