A theater in Guangzhou is 82.1 m high with 7 irregular items.The main functions of podium and tower are theater and office,respectively,and the transfer floor is located on the sixth floor.Using structural conceptual design thinking,the frame-shear wall structure system with lower reinforced concrete hollow truss and upper secondary conversion is adopted.The laminated open-web truss serves as a safety reserve for the secondary conversion,improving the safety redundancy of the structure.The dynamic elastic-plastic analysis under rare earthquake and stress analysis of the transfer floor slab were conducted.Through increasing the reinforcement ratio of shear wall in bottom strengthened area,adding steel to transfer members,and strengthening the thickness and reinforcement of transfer floor slab,the design target could be achieved.
