Effects of Substrates and Growth Regulators on Germination and Branching of Three Species of Sphagnum
Sphagnum is one types of the most important moss in the wild resources.A large-scale production is re-quired to fully meet the market demand, due to the high application value. It is necessary to optimize the artificial planting technology of Sphagnum,in order to protect the wild resources of Sphagnum moss.Taking the Sphagnum palustre,Sphagnum multifibrosum and Sphagnum junghuhnianum as research objects, this study aims to explore the growth indicators of budding branch under different substrates(peaty, loess, and humus soil)and growth regulators(NAA,IBA,and IAA)in warm land. The growth indexes also included the main stem and stem germination bran-ches,branch length,as well as the branch quality. The results showed that the branch germination rates of Sphag-num junghuhnianum and Sphagnum multifibrosum were the highest, while the new branch qualities of Sphagnum pal-ustre and Sphagnum junghuhnianum were the highest under the treatment of A2B3C1.The branch germination rate of Sphagnum palustre was the highest under the treatment of A1B3C.The highest quality was found in the new bran-ches of Sphagnum multifibrosum under the treatment of A2B1C2.There were the significant differences between the growth indexes of three Sphagnump lants under different treatment.Among them, the relatively balanced growth was achieved in the four branch growth indexes under the A2B3C1.The optimal combination was then obtained, where the cultivation substrate was yellow heart soil,IAA was added with a quality concentration of 10 mg·kg-1,in order to promote the growth of Sphagnum plants.
