Quality Grading of Annual Sowing Seedlings in Acacia dealbata Link
Seedling specifications out of nursery are required in the afforestation on the timber-forest for the edible fungus of Acacia dealbata Link.In this study, the correlation, the principal component, the cluster analysis, and the normal distribution were carried out to evaluate the annual sowing seedlings quality of Acacia dealbata in Chang-shun County,Guizhou Province of China. The results showed that the priority index was the ground diameter for the grading quality of one-year Acacia dealbata seedlings, and the auxiliary index was the seedling height. The stepwise clustering with the graded survey samples was more accurately performed for the production. It was more reasonable to assume 60%or 70%of the mean proportion method as the initial grading of the second-grade seedlings in step-wise clustering, compared with the rest. The first-grade seedlings were classified by the ground diameter(D)>0.80 cm and the seedling height(H)>100 cm.The second-grade seedlings were 0.40 cm≤D≤0.80 cm and H≥50 cm.The third-grade seedlings were 0.20 cm≤D<0.40 cm and H≥30 cm.Therefore, the seedlings size of D≥0.50 cm and H≥50 cm can be the seedlings specifications out of nursery for the afforestation of the timber-forest for edible fungus of Acacia dealbata in Guizhou Province. The first-grade seedlings can also be utilized for the cutting stem in the short-rotation timber-forest for the edible fungus.
